Lightbox for Ceiling at Lotus Showroom, Mayfair

Spanlite designed and installed a bespoke lightbox for ceiling for the new Lotus showroom in Mayfair. The installation enhanced the space with dynamic lighting and striking visual impact. This project delivered a seamless blend of branding and architectural design.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

This flagship project transformed the entrance of the Lotus showroom in Mayfair with a custom lighting feature. Spanlite supplied and installed a 3.8 m Ă— 2.6 m Stretch Fabric Raft Panel. designed to deliver a dramatic focal point. The solution enhanced the brand experience while illuminating the staircase below. It also showcased how architectural lighting can elevate high-end retail environments.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

The installation used the Stretch Fabric Raft Panel., a stretch-fabric lightbox system with fully programmable digital LEDs. Controlled via an Artnet system, the LEDs allow light to travel across the panel in pre-programmed sequences. One dynamic mode creates a pulsing effect that radiates from the centre outward, reflecting the client’s brand identity. A bespoke aluminium cowling was designed and fabricated beneath the panel to direct light downward and increase perceived brightness. Spanlite managed the full project delivery, from design through to on-site installation.
