LED Sheet Lights at One Embassy Gardens, London

At the centre of this rejuvenated riverside district in London, One Embassy Garden’s finely-crafted steel & glass façade is reflected internally in its illuminated metal foyer’s centrepiece, The Shape of Bricks.

Collaborating with lighting designer Eleni Shiarlis and metalworkers Millimetre, Spanlite developed a system to inconspicuously backlight the piece’s iconic resin bricks.

Meeting the design brief, tuneable white LED Light Sheets were employed. This allows the light to shift between warm white and cool white lighting protocols, depending on the desired effect and time of day, bringing an added dimension to the piece’s desire to play with light, shadow and texture.
