The cutting edge of edge-lighting - 21/03/2011

We are proud to share the news that we have sufficiently developed Polylite®, our edge-lighting technology, to yeat another new level. We challenge anyone to match the edge-lighting performance of Polylite®!

Using a single row of LEDs we can confidently provide even illumination across a panel sized up to 2.6m in height, and 3.5m across. This is only possible due to Spanlite's patented process – we manage to spread the light evenly by printing a bespoke matrix pattern onto the Polylite® acrylic sheet. To optimise the pattern we use custom software that takes into account the distance required and the natural fall-off in light from the row of LEDs.
