Marble and Onyx – digitally bookmatched

Architects and contractors can be faced with problems when asked to implement designs for feature walls that include the use of marble, onyx or other traditionally exotic finishes. Some of the rarer types are simply too delicate to be used in large slabs, and backlighting them presents its own set of issues – including high costs.

This technology not only solves this problem for interior designers of large projects such as hotels, but by digitally printing images of marble or onyx onto glass, we can guarantee visual consistency across the whole project. Plus, this makes visually bookmatching a number of panels a straightforward option.
